    I am having an issue with my website’s yoast breadcrumbs, they are incorrectly linking to “localhost” instead of the website URL.

    My WordPress URL and my Site Address URL are both set to “https://mycalifornia.wpengine.com”, and that also shows up as the root path under the permalinks settings. I tried saving both the general settings and permalink settings without making changes to see if it would update to the correct URL as that usually corrects any permalink issues.

    Any insight into what could be the cause would be appreciated.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • You will have to rebuild the indexables, either via wp cli (wp yoast index –reindex) or the Yoast Test Helper plugin (and hit the button to reset migrations & indexables).

    @djennez

    After updating to 14.9 and using Yoast Test Helper to reset migration & indexables, all pages outside of the Home failed to load. I temporarily, deactivated the Yoast Plugin and the pages loaded again.

    Prior to resetting migration and indexables, the breadcrumbs pointed to localhost on both the local MAMP installation and development link.

    Reverting back to 13.4.1 resolved the issue.

    Any thoughts on next steps?

    I was having the same issue as you all – but I was able to fix it by changing my permalinks to “Plain” saving – refreshing – then changing them back to “Post-Name” and saving and refreshing. This fix all these issues.
