Using WordPress default theme twentytwentyone, I try to follow jetpack breadcrumbs guidance here and add the code in header.php, however the breadcrumbs only show on pages and category pages. The tag pages, homepage, and single posts not works. If this is a bug please fix that in the next update.

Also, the breadcrumbs rendered without a separator, how to add the separator between the breadcrumbs links? and How to add Prefix for the breadcrumb path?. Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there

As mentioned in the guidance, the breadcrumb feature is for use on single pages. It is not designed to display anywhere else.

A separator and prefix are not part of the code. Some themes will have default styling for this kind of <nav> element, but if not, you’ll need to add them yourself using CSS.
