Breadcrumbs: possible to get section trail to current post?

Brilliant plugin – thanks! This is the missing link between posts and pages. Spent days pulling out my hair trying to write code to hack the system but your plugin is exactly the right way to do it.

However, I now need to get it working in my breadcrumb trail (and ideally, the sitemap page). Is there a way to get to see a trail from the root section to the active post? Eg. Home (section) -> Products (section) -> Inflatable doll (post) ?
