Breadcrumbs show version of old route

    Could you tell us a little more about the issue? What have you already done to try the problem, and where exactly are you running into the error? If possible, can you take a screenshot that highlights this issue?

    Having a little more information about the situation will help us evaluate and get the issue sorted faster.

    The issue is with the breadcrumbs.

    We changed the url structure of the website, but the breadcrumbs still show the old structure.

    I can’t seem to upload a screenshot in this forum, but the breadcrumbs aren’t too hard to find really on a blog page like: https://pingwin.nl/wat-is-seo/.

    The breadcrumbs show: Home/SEO bureau / Kennisbank / Wat is SEO.

    Though it should only show Home / Wat is SEO (same as url).

    The only possible solution I came across on this forum was: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/after-the-change-of-domain-breadcrumbs-link-partly-still-old-url/. But that didn’t work for me.

    I tried resaving permalinks.
    I checked breadcrumbs setting within Yoast SEO plugging. Nothing weird there.

    I’m lost in what to do to fix this.

    Thanks for your clarification. If you have reset the Yoast SEO Indexables tables and migrations, reset the permalinks structure, checked the breadcrumbs settings but the issue still persists for you, we will need to take a look at your setup to see what’s going on. However, we are unable to do it here as this is a public forum.

    So, if you have an active Yoast SEO Premium subscription or if you can consider buying one, we can investigate the issue further directly on your setup privately through email.

    However, if you don’t wish to get the Yoast SEO Premium subscription, that’s completely fine. In this case, you’ll need to troubleshoot the issue further on your setup as we are literally out of any clue at this moment without taking a look at the setup. So, someone from the community might step forward as well who has experienced or familiar with the issue.
