Breadcrumbs Title Option

    Hi! If I’m using the breadcrumbs title option under advanced to change a page name in the breadcrumbs, will this also update on the breadcrumbs on the google results page? Also, just checking this won’t affect SEO at all?

  • Hi,

    While we can’t say if it will affect the SEO of the site, we would say if changing it makes sense for your target audience then you should make the change.

    In addition, we would expect Google to show the updated breadcrumb in those search result pages.

    You can use Inspect any URL on the URL after making the change. This will force Google to update the index, rather than waiting for Google to re-crawl the URL. This guide explains more:?https://kb.yoast.com/kb/fetch-as-googlebot/.
