Breadcrumbs won’t show trail

    Hi, I recently picked up WordPress, and installed a theme called Modern by WebMan Design. I then installed the Breadcrumb NavXT plugin (since it was recommended on the WebMan Design website).

    Unfortunately it only shows the EXACT page you are on, and not the trail in the breadcrumb.

    Here I opened: Egne materialer > Emma Gad – Smaa Vink > Sm? vink fra 1915
    Yet it only shows: Sm? vink fra 1915, in the breadcrumb.

    I could not find any solution to this online, so I hope someone with knowledge about the plugin can help me out. Thank you in advance!

    It looks like those items are pages, but there isn’t a page parent hierarchy setup. What I mean by that is it doesn’t appear “Emma Gad – Smaa Vink” is set as the parent page for “Sm? vink fra 1915”? Likewise, “Egne materialer” does not appear to be set as the parent page of “Emma Gad – Smaa Vink”. Breadcrumb NavXT isn’t going to be able to pick up on the the intended hierarchy without the page parent relationship being set (the WordPress menu does not dictate resource hierarchy/organization within WordPress).
