Hi, after updating with the latest version of the plugin I had some problems which led to the breaking of the home page. This only happens in Edge and IE11 but not in Crohme and Mozilla. Looking at the developer console of Edge, I can see two red error messages generated by wp google maps plugin, which break the execution of javascript on my site.

    Are these:
    SCRIPT5022: SCRIPT5022: Exception thrown and not caught text.min.js (1,256)
    SCRIPT5009: SCRIPT5009: ‘ol’ is not defined wp-google-maps.min.js (1,40066)

    Can you check please?

    Best regards

    Franco

  • Hi @francocorsi1

Thank you for getting in touch, sorry to hear you are experiencing issues.

We cannot reproduce this issue at our end at all, can you please confirm that you are running the OpenLayers engine?

Can you please also try disabling all 3rd party plugins temporarily to see if any other plugin is interfering with WP Google Maps operation?

If that is the case we can work to establish a fix, we’d just kindly ask you to confirm that first, if that’s possible.

Thank you for your time in this matter, we look forward to your response.

    Kind regards
    – Perry

Hi and thanks, I confirm that I am using OpenLayers engine and I have tried to disable all plugins. When I activate only the WP Google Maps plugin the problem appears. WP is updated to the latest version as well as the theme (Customizr). The problem does not appear if I use Chrome or Mozilla, also I did the test on other desktops. The problem appears only with Edge and IE11. If necessary, I can provide you with the site credentials privately.
