• Hello folks!

Been using FD for a while on this project, but client reported some related products were broke. Investigating a bit, the markup from related products are changed by plugin’s markup, messing the display of related products when downloadable products are shown there.

    Any light on this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey, sorry for the delay

In what way is it broken? Do you have an example of another product where there is no download button so I can see the difference?

    Marking this as resolved ??

    Hello.

If you reload a couple times, at least one of the related products will be shown as seen on the following screenshot https://i.imgur.com/MDG5dxW.png

Im so sorry, not sure why I marked this as solved ?? Was confused with another thread ??

What is wrong, the heart icon being messed up?

I wish it was just the heart icon. Please note the related products (Produtos relacionados in Portuguese) section, which should be 5 columns and is 3 columns and 2 broke products.

I see its causing conflict. What theme are you using? We would have to try an debug but have to focus on premium support at the moment.

You could also ask the wishlist plugin as its the way the heart icon is injected that breaks the HTML structure

Once again, it’s not the heart icon, right? The entire section is broken. I’ve disabled wishlist feature and it keeps broken.

Site is using Blocksy Pro theme. Inspecting the DOM, clearly the markup injected by plugin is messing up the correct layout.

Yes I understand, it seems to be like the wishlist that is breaking the HTML structure from my inspection

Try see if it is any other plugins – then try to go to a default WordPress theme – is it only on Blocksy Pro?

I mean… really? I’ve disabled whishlist feature, how is it the responsible? It’s clear that the plugin is the one breaking markup, not the opposite.

Sorry you feel let down. Right now we need to focus our dev time on premium support and dev. I have put this on the list to check but cannot guarantee when as its a one time issue so can be a number of things.

If you need it sooner, if you have the premium version we can check this sooner

    Thanks

So please leave it clear that support is available only for users that pay for your free plugin.

    (@wpenhanced)

Well its not all the time – we are happy to offer support but in your case it is a theme conflict which requires a lot of time to debug and for us to purchase the theme etc.

With premium support we can do things like log into your site and clone it but this takes time and need to prioritise prem support and dev as we do not have loads of free time.

I am sorry its not what you want to hear.

    Yeah, right
