breaking wordpress jquery

  • Hi Everyone. I hope you can help us??!

    Our developer has identified an issue with the plugin where it is breaking the wordpress jquery, resulting in an error that prevents our product’s description, imagery and review tabs being shown.

    He’s also said Genesis is definitely not compatible with woocommerce (they are using a plugin as a workaround).

    Please can someone help us resolve this as we’ve just won a top award for our products and are seeing increased traffic so are desperate to fix it.

    I am sorry you are having difficulties with your site.

    WooCommerce is compatible with Genesis, we do recommend also using the Genesis Connect plugin when using WooCommerce.

    I am testing Mai Lifestyle Pro with WooCommerce and Genesis connect and the product images are showing and am not having any issues with how the products display.

    When checking your site it looks like there are some other scripts may be added to the site, can you remove any scripts that have been added and test (appearance ==> customize ==> theme settings ==> header/footer scripts). Also, there could be a plugin conflict causing this to occur. Since this is a live site, you may not want to test there. If you have access to a staging environment you can try disabling all other plugins and scripts (except for WooCommnerce and Genesis Connect) and see if this resolves the issue.

    Also, can you confirm that your site is using the latest version of WooCommerce and Genesis Connect?
