The plugin is affecting the storing and/or retrieval of ActiveMember360 plugin session data.
ActiveMember360 relies upon a cookie named mbr and PHP session data to maintain the connection between the WordPress user and the ActiveCampaign contact.

It appears that the session is no longer being maintained.

The consequence is that immediately after login with no session available there is no link between the logged in user and ActiveCampaign is lost.

So the user remains logged in as a WordPress user but will not be able to access any content dependent upon ActiveCampaign contact data.

    Hello @jdelamaza,

In order to be able to investigate the issue, we would need to recreate it on our end. However, this requires installing the ActiveMember360 which is a paid plugin.

Could you provide us with the domain name of the affected website and the steps we should take to replicate the problem that you encountered? In case you are not comfortable sharing this information in the forum and your site is hosted with SiteGround, please open a support request from your Client Area so we can check the issue in more detail.

    Best regards,
    Dimo

    Hi Dimo,
    Thanks!
The domain name is probenefit.cl and Activemember360 block or show content to users based in the info the users has in Activecampaign.
ActiveMember360 relies upon a cookie named mbr and it’s own session data to maintain the connection between the WordPress user and the ActiveCampaign contact.
The guys from ActiveMember360 support think that SiteGround may have configured something which is interfering with either of those.
They enabled an API log and they can see from the ActiveCampaign API calls and responses that the user is being logged in correctly. Also their ActiveCampaign contact record is being updated with the login date. However after the login there is no session data and hence the issue.

    Hi @jdelamaza,

I am afraid that we are unable to recreate the issue you are experiencing as the Activemember360 plugin is a paid one.

However, you can still perform some tests on your end by disabling the SG Security’s options one by one to see if the issue will be resolved. I would recommend starting by disabling the 2FA first.

Let us know if none of the above actions resolved the issue.

    Hi
I have deactivated and deleted plugin but the issue isn’t resolved. Is it possible that SG Security made some changes at server level or .htaccess files?

    Hi @jdelamaza,

The only option added to the .htaccess file in public_html is to block XML-RPC.

The ‘Lock and Protect System Folders‘option in Site security creates a new .htaccess inside the wp-content folder. You can check if this one is still present though normally, the file is removed if this option is disabled or the plugin is uninstalled.
