• I’m having to move my clients to another SEO plugin. Very frustrating. Elementor is hugely popular and Yoast is causing a serious problem with it.

    Thanks for your review.

We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems with Yoast SEO and Elementor. I know how frustrating it’s when there’s a conflict between two plugins. A bug report has been created and is under review by our product team.

The severity of the issue has been deemed “minor” according to that link. And it has been there since November 2021. I will be moving away from Yoast permanently for this reason.

Thanks for your feedback @robmaric. We understand that this issue is annoying and that you’d like to have it resolved as soon as possible. We’ve had an internal discussion and our product team has decided to give it a higher priority.

@monbauza that is great news! Thank you. It was making Elementor almost unusable for me so I’m glad to see it increased to a higher priority.

    Any news about this?

@peterforensys The issue is already on our developer’s plate; however, we don’t have an ETA yet for when a fix will be implemented. You can follow the progress of the report on the link shared above.

I don’t think the developers realise how bad this problem is now. Something in more recent versions of Yoast have made it much worse than whatever issue they were aware of a year or so ago. Without thinking, I just updated a client site from Yoast 19.something (didn’t have the issue) to the latest and it has caused the constant unsaved changes green button to show in Elementor, forcing us to switch from Yoast to a competitor. You are breaking Elementor with your current version of Yoast. It’s not a little annoyance, it is breaking the editing feature.
