Today the home page (only) for this site broke meaning CSS problems. One symptom is four footer widgets not stacking up in mobile, instead they were shrinking.

One by one deactivated plugins and All in One is the culprit.

I hate to deactivate SEO but there really is no choice.

Try these troubleshooting steps (similar to what you did, but leave AIOSEOP active) to determine if there’s a conflict with your theme or another plugin. AIOSEOP should have nothing to do with CSS on your homepage.

    per your instructions…
Once you have a good backup, deactivate all plugins except our All in One SEO Pack Pro plugin. ==> I have done that and the home page is broken with it activated, fixed when it is deactivated

If the problem went away then you know it was caused by one of the plugins you deactivated. ==> yes

Reactivate each plugin one at a time until the problem occurs. You now know which plugin is causing your issue. ==> when I reactivate All in One (only) the home page breaks

OK… so within the Feature manager
deactivate “Social Meta” and the home page displays properly.
Activate Social Meta and the home page breaks

I looked at the settings but didn’t identify anything wrong.

Turned AIOSEOP off on the home page only (using “Disable on this page/post” control) and it rendered properly.

Some of the home page SEO fields were defaulted with page content. I updated title and description fields with text > turned SEO back on > home page is now fixed.

The mysterious thing about this is when all of this happened. 1) home page had not been edited 2) SEO settings had not been updated except on a blog post we published and 3) the theme had not been updated.

I’m glad you got it working again.
