• Hi

Please could you help me with how to uninstall this plugin safely. I shouldn’t have installed it. I am not a developer. I have uninstalled it twice and twice i have had to restore my site. I would like to know how to uninstall it completely and safely without it breaking my site please.

Hi, all plugins are the same, just uninstall from wp admin and delete, that’s it.

A “broken” frontend, where you lost the CSS styling (visually) is page cache related, not this plugin related.

What happens in that case, is that your server has some sort of persistent caching, so when the plugin minifies the CSS files and duplicates them with a different name, the server caches the page pointing to those files. So then you clear the FVM cache or it auto clears as needed, but your page still points to the other files, now deleted.

In other words, your server cache configuration, does not clear automatically when WordPress clears itself its own cache. Normally, the hosting provides a way to clear page caching… so please check with the hosting.

    Hi Raul,

Gotcha. Thanks for the prompt reply and full response. I don’t think there is anything wrong with your plugin btw, I just don’t need it, it is more than I can handle and even following an expert tutorial, which worked fine, won’t help me once the odd glitch happens, I won’t be able to troubleshoot it and fine-tune the settings, so unfortunately, I need to uninstall it which is a real pity. Would you advise, deactivating it, then clearing its cache, then uninstalling it? And I use Themify theme, which enables me to recreate all css. Would you recommend me doing recreating all css after clearing your plugin’s cache? And then deleting your plugin? Sorry to bug ya, and I appreciate the help very much. Thanks again.
