• After installing the latest version of NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster, the plugin updater on my WordPress installation broke. That is, any attempt to update plugin installations would fail causing my site to go down in “maintenance mode” for 10-15 minutes. Upon deactivating the NextScripts plugin, the plugin updater on my site started working again. I’m talking about the default plugin updater that comes built into every WordPress installation. My site has no code customizations. I really like your plugin–I really like it–bug breaking the updater is a show-stopper. Any chance this bug can get resolved? I’d be happy to work with your team to identify the specifics of this bug, so that it can get resolved for everyone. Thanks.

The most common reason for this is the amount of memory allowed for PHP on your server. Please check and make sure it’s not 32M or less. You need at least 64M, but if you have other plugins 128M or even 256M is recommended.

Another possible problem is broken curl/sslcurl, please check CurlSSL from Help/Support tab.

Thanks. I’m looking into upgrading my hosting plan from a shared server to a virtual private server, which allows for dedicated memory, and I’m hoping it will also solve some of the other performance issues that I’ve been experiencing.
