• A protected page does not load in the Frontend editor from Visual Composer Website Builder.
I tried importing all users and adding them to the group that was allowed access, but it didn’t work.

I’m convinced this is an issue with Simple Membership, not VCWB.

    Hi,

A protected page does not load in the Frontend editor from Visual Composer Website Builder.
I tried importing all users and adding them to the group that was allowed access, but it didn’t work.

Let me see if I get what you are saying. You are saying that when a member logs in to view the content of a page he or she cannot use the visual editor from the front end while logged in. Is this correct?

    Hello @mbrsolution

    No this is not correct.

VCWB is a Page Builder and is used solely by website administrators. It’s launched *from within* the backend, but launches as a Front-End editor. There’s a video of how it operates here: https://visualcomposer.com/.

So even though I’m logged in as an administrator, the Simple Membership plugin is preventing me from editing the page.

Given the huge amount of users that VCWB has, I figured this would be a worthwhile compatibility.

Hi, thank you for clarifying further what you mean. Can you try carrying out the steps in the following documentation. Let me know if this helps you.

    Kind regards

I did that already (I should have mentioned that), but it didn’t work unfortunately.

Hi, unfortunately that is all I know. We currently don’t have an integration addon or feature to work with Visual Composer.

    Kind regards

Is this plugin in the www.ads-software.com repository? I did a quick search but I didn’t find it. If it is, then I will add it to my test site and check it.

@wpinsider-1 No it is not unfortunately, but the Starter Theme designed for it, is: https://www.ads-software.com/themes/visual-composer-starter/

I think you should test it out, because it is used by a lot of people, just like the predecessor Visual Composer Page Builder.
