Breeze settings will not reflect because there is file permission issue

It’s strange, it may be there is some conflict issue.
To verify it needs to check the settings applied in your application.

Resetting cloudways file permission twice (because we could choose 2 different options at RESET FILE / FOLDERS PERMISSIONS – application settings) and then saving breeze setting again, fixed it for us.

Your provided solution worked for me on one Cloudways app, but did not work for me on second Cloudways app.
Number of times resetting permission and saving did not work (did 4 times).
Finally it was solved by uninstalling Breeze plugin and installing it again.

I just had the same issue and updating the permissions using the app user. It didn’t work even when I saved the Breeze Settings afterwards.

What did work is I had to enable the Cache System in the Breeze Settings (I had it disabled as it is a website currently in development) and hit save. That got rid of the error.

I then disabled the Cache System and saved and everything was still fine.
