    Hello.

Can’t send successfully test message with Brevo.
Always I receive Brevo unauthorized: not verified error while the domain and sender of the same domain have been veried/authorized on Brevo’s side settings.

Any idea why? Please see the events log here:
    https://prnt.sc/cpsQYBdc7RAG

Looks like the message never reaches Brevo. Their transactionall log is empty as you can see here:
    https://prnt.sc/oNLG-rE9bAJr

    Thanks

    Hi @tritongr & @owstopit,

Thanks for reaching out & I apologize for the trouble!

When you get a chance, please log into your Brevo account and try whitelisting your sites IPs (the IP address of the site where it’s hosted) and see if that resolves your issue.

    • To find your site IP(s), please use this tool and enter your domain name.
    • Then, go to Brevo security settings section (see link).
    • Add your site’s IP(s) to the “Authorize new IP address” section (see).

Once you complete the above steps, try sending a test email (WP Mail SMTP -> Tools) from your WordPress site.

    I hope this helps. Thanks!

    Your support is excellent!
    Clear and detailed description! Congratulations!

The problem really solved after whitelisting?my site’s IP.
Now test messages but also Elementor form’s messages delivered with no issues.

Allow me to ask a further explanation. Was my host blacklisted?
Is there any chance, in the future, my site to get a different and blacklisted IP?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi @tritongr,

I’m glad to hear that resolved your issue, and I apologize for missing your follow-up question.

Based on the issue you experienced, it appears that your Brevo account did not recognize your server IP for some reason. This might be due to your server IP changing because of a server migration or another event.

I suggest reaching out to Brevo support to find out the exact cause. They should also be able to explain how you can avoid this issue in the future.

    I hope this helps. Thanks!

    Hello Mr. Darshana,

I followed the same steps you provided, but I am still encountering the following error message when I send a test email:

    Email Source: WP Mail SMTP
    Mailer: Brevo unauthorized: not verified

I also tried using SMTP credentials instead of the API key, but it still didn’t work. I need it to work with the API key. I have already added my site’s IP address to the authorized list in Brevo.

    Here are some additional details:

    • In the ‘From Email’ field, I used the email address I created on Zoho Mail.
    • For the test email, I used a Gmail address associated with the website.
    • In WP Forms, I set “[email protected]” as the ‘From’ and ‘To’ email addresses.

Could you please suggest other potential causes for this issue and what additional steps I might need to take?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi.

Please keep in mind for new accounts in Brevo you need to explicitly request activation of transactionals for your account by ticketing them. If already done, and you have whitelisted your server’s IP, check your transactional logs in Brevo‘s environment.

    Hi Tritongr,

Can you tell me how i do that? and if it’s paid or free?

Because i need an SMTP free service to my site.

    Thank you

    Hi.

Just login to Brevo > Click on question mark top right > Support & tickets > Submit a request asking them to activate your account’s SMTP/Transactional capabilities.

It’s free for up to 300 transactional emails daily I think.
