• I am using the bridge theme:

The author has created their own plugin to import demo content. They do not provide the traditional .xml files to do a normal upload. It always hangs at 20%. I’ve tried several times. The web server error log populates several errors when I try to load the data very similar to this:
[Thu Jul 17 09:26:25 2014] [error] [client 97.79.232.179] File does not exist: /home/brockdes/public_html/500.shtml, referer: https://brockdesign.net/wordpress_multisite/restaurant/wp-admin/admin.php?page=qode_options_import_page

Anybody have experience with this theme or know what’s going on?

    Thanks!

Somehow this post did not format correctly… Let me try again:

    Link for theme I’m using:
    Bridge Theme

Theme requires to use it’s own plugin to import the demo content. Doesn’t work worth a crap. It hangs at 20%. I don’t have the xml file, so I can’t do a traditional import.

Web Server gives me multiple errors when I try to import, similar to this:

    Hi there.
    I have the same problem.
    How did you get it?

    Thank you

I cant get it past 90% import

I had the same problem, but think I have figured it out. For me when trying to import the demo content it would fail at 50,60,70 or 80% depending on the demo. What was the same was the amount of time it took before it failed, 30 secs. Through my sites cpanel I was able to check my restrictions that my provider has set. within the php.ini file the max_execution_time = 30 seconds. I contacted qode and it is also listed in the documentation they provide with the theme, that you need a minimum max execution time of 120 seconds.
Scroll down the documentation until you get to section 5 of chapter 1. It is easy to change, but my provider has said in my php.ini file that if I change it, I could be banned from their services. So do as qode recommends and that I have done and put a ticket in with your provider for the changes. If they can’t, contact qode and see if they can transfer the content to your site. I have requested that too. Whatever comes first.
    Hope this helps.

Can someone be a doll and send me the theme documentation?
I fired my Developer and decided to do it myself.
He wont send it to me tho… [email redacted]

    PLEASE!

Sorry, but these forums do not provide support for commercial themes – I’d suggest you contact the developers of Bridge Theme about this.
