the “header graphic” do you mean the title and desc. or the big photos in the slider.? sry so many ?? but need to know to understand exactly what u mean.

If u can find the code in the header.php that puts the pic try to add

<a href="https://blog.gobreck.com/"> in front so it looks like:

if u can figure out what part of the code puts the title pic then u can fix but if not I will activate the theme on a demo site to get u better instructions if u not too into the html thing. I will get back to u prob later to nite or 2maro. with better written instruc.

WOW having a quick look at the theme files I am not sure where it is created from… the header.php or the style.css so it may take some testing… if i can figure this one out at all. ??

I activated the theme here https://u-be-u.com/ and by default it does link it to the home page. if you added a custom header img under “appearance>header” then try to “remove header image” then under “settings>general” put the text in for title and tagline/description.

it is better to have actual header text than a photo for searches. search bots can’t “read” a photo.

Much as I don’t want to lose the SEO, the default just isn’t the look we’re going for. And we’re working on a header (black&white jpg is just a placeholder) for use across this, social media, etc. Again, thanks! It was this forum and your other suggestions that helped us make this theme usable! -R

ok then good luck and sry I could not help u more. There is def a way to do what u need but I and not THAT good yet…lol I like the theme too but think it could be a bit more user friendly.

i have another question. on my nivo slider. i want a smooth fade-in and out. right now not quite doing that. where can i adjust? i think it’s in the nivo js file but where? thanks!

does the nivo come with the theme or is it plugin? I never user it b4 so not sure. I saw a theme call dzonia-lite that is similar that u might try.

If no apparent setting try diff slidr plugin. RachelZ’s site https://blog.gobreck.com/ has a cool slider but not sure if it is default or a plugin though.

To get rid of the “duplicate” featured images, I commented out the line in post-excerpt.php
