Brilliant Idea!

  • Excellent job! We’ve talked a decent amount internally about obscuring our login screen, but had never come up with such a simple and effective method. We’re excited to see how this decreases the thousand or so login hack attempts we get a month.

    Thanks. I’m confident you’ll see next to none. I have 13 in the past 60-90 days on my primary site.

    v4.0 will have addons that will immediately kill those 13 that I see in my dashboard’s Limit Login Attempts. The addons will be pretty epic.

    That’s awesome Jesse. If this works well we most likely will push it out to all of our clients as well. As of now it really hurts our server performance.

    I know for sure that WP Engine is pushing it to all of the support tickets for login attempts. They hired me to fix a couple of extra shortcomings a few weeks ago, thus v3.0 was released.
