Broadcasting Galleries

  • Hi Edward,
    I’ve noticed that when an image is inserted in the main site and then broadcast the image file is stored on the parent site and not on the sub site (which is what I want) but the same doesn’t happen for wordpress galleries. I believe the gallery shortcode is causing this, but was wondering if there was any way to have galleries link to the original files on the main site ie. the html for the gallery being broadcast and not the shortcode

    Oh my. Have I forgotten to answer this question? Hm.

    In order to link to the original gallery files, you’ll have to find a gallery plugin that refers to the images statically and not as attachment IDs.

    I don’t quite recall ever having stumbled upon such a plugin, though.
