Broke 2 of my sites

  • I am simultaneously working on 2 different website and all of them had iThemes Security installed (latest version). Everything was working fine for a few days and today I decided to update the login from wp-admin to wplogin as suggested and it broke both of my sites! I had to delete the plugin for both sites through FTP and the sites started working again. Anyone else having this issue?

  • YES, YES AND YES. Every since the upgrade to iThemes the plugin has completely destroyed my websites. I can’t access the WP admin panel area (error) and my sites are not available online either. I’ve done numerous reinstalls of backups only to discover that it’s the iThemes plugin causing all my problems. It won’t even let me add new plugins without disabling it or I lose everything. Very frustrating since the upgrade, sorry constant upgrades.
    So, eventually I had to remove the plugin because it crashes my site.
