    Hi,

We are facing few issues in using the wp-gotowebinar plug-in, below I have mentioned the problems we are facing.
    1) We were using the wp-gotowebinar(version : 8.3) in listing the wenbinars etc.., and since yesterday it has stopped working. What has caused this problem.?
    2) Moreover, I see that the new version (8.5) of the plug-in is available as of 7/7/2017. Do I have to update to new version in order to fix the problem?
    3) In the future, if I do not update to the latest version immediately, will the plug-in (older version) stop working post new release?

    Hi,

I have no idea, I can’t see your site so I can’t diagnose anything. There could be several reasons why this is occurring and some of which don’t have anything to do with the plugin.

There should be no issues with the updated version of the plugin. The last 2 updates (including 8.4 and 8.5) have been really minor in nature and shouldn’t effect what you are describing.

Older versions of the plugin will never stop working.

    Thanks,

I was speaking to another person who raised a similar issue. This could be caused by browser caching. It’s possible your browser has cached one of the scripts used by the plugin and it hasn’t refreshed it properly.

Please clear your browser cache and see if this resolves the issue.

    Hi,

I tried this again with a fresh new browser, still the issue exists.

I have also deactivated and reactivated plugin, after that can’t able to view the settings page(“../wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wp-gotowebinar”) of the wp-gotowebinar in the admin login.

    Info :
    wp-gotowebinar(version : 8.3).
    WordPress(version : 4.1.1).

I have sent you a mail with a screenshot where we are facing an issue with the jquery-tabs library

Error log from the browser console:
    [Uncaught TypeError: “$( “#tabs” ).tabs();” is not a function……. ] at adminscript.js page

This has been resolved through email. The user had an old version of WordPress and also an old version of PHP. Updates will resolve this.

@northernbeacheswebsites I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
