Broke my site

  • This plugin maybe does some DB optimizations, but I haven’t noticed any speed improvements. It is incompatible with some other plugins (like contextual related posts) and with WP 5.9. It killed my site several times.
    The only plus is that is actively maintained.

    The effects of indexing are most noticeable if you have a large database.

    About the site crash when creating the index, “it’s normal”, for the indexing to be done MySQL needs to lock the tables, regardless of the plugin.

    No, for me even activating that plugin breaks my site – I get WP white screen of death. The author can’t properly do exceptions handling in PHP. I sent them the SQL query that causes the problem but they just ignore it. Bad bad bad.
