Broke my site

Can you provide me with more details so I can investigate?

Hi Henry,
I was so excited to see the possibility of @group working within buddy press to send a mass message to group members…but once uploaded into my plugins folder…it broke the site. Had to remove in order to get site back up and running.
I have wp 4.3.1

Hi Anita,

I’ve tested with 4.3.1 and BuddyPress 2.4.3 and it works for me.

I suspect the problem may be due to another plugin you have installed or perhaps the theme you’re using.

Can you provide a list of the plugins you’re using?

Thanks for this list. It’s very likely that one of these is causing a conflict which is resulting in your site “breaking”.

You can test this out by deactivating all of them (aside from BuddyPress) and testing again with the Twenty Fifteen theme enabled. You should see that the mention command @group will now work.

If you then re-activate your plugins 1 by 1, you should find the culprit.
