@photocrati , @jkelly298 If you start your own thread, no one will help you. I did start my own thread twice. One is NextGEN Basic Slideshow showing wrong size from what is in Options. The only time anyone helped me was when I posted on another thread. When your website is your business and your developer can’t help you because he doesn’t know what is wrong and you’re a member of wordpress a person thinks they might get help. To be ignored and then told you are wrong is wrong. I have one comment on the thread on Nextgen. It has been 7 days since I posted it. Wow that is just not right and then to be told you’re not doing things right. Wow! This conversation between two members is very interesting because xyzbytes wants to help and has, (smart guy) and photocrati is saying (Working around WordPress core as is generally will not be the best solution going forward.) Holy Cow! When you are a business time is critical. We don’t have time to wait for someone to figure out what is wrong. A business needs a fix now!!!!! Not next week. When a smart guy comes forward and says he has a fix. LISTEN work the bugs out latter. This is America, applause to the one who is smart enough to open his mouth. He is the hero.

All – Of the ideas presented here, all of them indicate a general issue (outside of NextGEN Gallery plugins by Imagely) with an active plugin or the current theme in use. In general, I would still recommend ensuring all of the active plugins and the current theme are up-to-date and then carry on from there looking for the plugin and/or theme that is causing this issue if it persists.
Working around WordPress core as is generally will not be the best solution going forward.
Thanks!

@photocrati – agreed. But when your site is broken and it relies on the plugin to provide content, then you do what is needed until a fix is offered, which who knows when that will be. Adding code to a child theme is the best alternative.
