• Hi,

I have the following problem: on posts/pages with multiple YouTube embeds the browser’s back-button (i.e. get back to previous site) breaks. As you scroll down, the plugin seems to create a “back-point” at every video player. So when you press the back-button in your browser it doesn’t bring you to the previous site. Instead, it will reset the YouTube embeds and make them disappear one by one.
You can get back to the previous site, by pressing the back button one time for every YouTube embed that was loaded. So if you scroll to the bottom of a post with 10 embeds you’d have to press back 11 times to actually get back to where you were before. This is very very bad for usability.

Is there a fix for this?
Deactivating a3 Lazy Load fixes it instantly (but obviously I want to keep using the plugin). I have the latest version of the plugin installed.

    Hello darkhydra90

Please post a link to the site where I can see what is happening in a browser. Please make sure a3 lazy load is activated.

    Regards

Scroll to bottom of page and it will break back button.
Note: I’m using Google Chrome on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit. I’ll test with other devices and post my findings in a few minutes.

    Hi darkhydra90

You have found a bug I think – But it is in the core video script – The link you posted is to the Lazy Load TX Github demo site (not WordPress) – and yes I see the issue – Have just set up a test page on a WordPress site and loaded those videos and see the same issue https://responsi.a3de.info/2016/08/04/lazy-load-video-test/

So this is an issue with the core video script – would you like to post this as an issue on the Lazy Load TX git – or we can do that if you would prefer?

    Regards
    Steve
