Broken Image Links in Gmail
-
I’ve been using this plugin for quite a while and I love it except for something quirky happening in gmail readers (maybe some other email clients too). I use the BNFW to send out emails to my entire subscriber base when I publish a new post. For some reason, some recipients can not see the images in the HTML email. I’ve noticed that gmail is overwriting the image url (https://utopiahsa.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/police-150×150.png) with a cached image url (https://ci6.googleusercontent.com/proxy/14yASpo7BiOzHThGZW0pCWK18mTZeyQdubYefvkO1NFrtoLasp74G6l6Y7VA4D1RIv1i3bsRVbNkhJPEOd_T7hh99I3rkLXNUslz27gitIr1BLKR-9s=s0-d-e1-ft#https://utopiahsa.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/police-150×150.png) but the cached image is empty. I’ve seen similar problems posted on the Internet but no answers. And yes, I’ve tried to deactivate plugins, clear cached pages, etc. I’ve tried dozens of things but nothing works. One last thing… it doesn’t happen to every recipient.
Images are very important in my posts and I need to fix this problem on 2 websites. Perhaps you’ve seen this before and have a solution.
