Broken image under every post

  • This is probably a theme issue, but I can’t seem to fix it and was hoping someone here might help.

    Under every single post – in RSS only – there is a broken image placeholder appearing. It isn’t clickable but when opened in a new tab, it’s blank and the URL is something like “?ak_action=api_record_view&id=1381&type=feed”

    I’ve looked in single.php, but can’t find what it is.

    Where / what can I do?

    After reading my post, it’s not clear enough. I’ll write it a bit better.

    Under every single post in RSS and Feedburner email posts (directly under the final body text), a broken image placeholder appears.

    It doesn’t hotlink anywhere, and doesn’t seem to be related to any plugins in particular (unless I’m missing something). When I right-click on the broken image, the URL given is:

    https://[mysite].com/?ak_action=api_record_view&id=1807&type=feed

    What the heck is that, and would could it possibly be related to?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Exact same problem here! I cannot track down where it’s coming from…it doesn’t look like it’s in feed-rss2.php as far as I can tell…

    Do you guys have ‘popularity contest’ plugin installed. Try to remove it and see if the images are gone. I remove it and now my feeds look good.
    That plugin has some issue I guess.

    I am facing the same issues!

    And I have only few and popular plugins installed.
