Broken Image Uploads Since 4.2.4 Self-Hosted WP

    Thanks for making wordpress, for it being free and available.

    I’ve directed here from https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/broken-image-uploads-since-424-self-hosted-wp. I got a copy paste response there, so I came here.

    So here’s my question. Anyone noticing the same?

    “Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but whatever.

    Since my WP upgraded to 4.2.4 my image uploading capability eroded to non-existent.

    Images get uploaded to wp either the simple or multi uploader, but the images in their full size don’t get uploaded, only their resized versions remain.

    And the attachment page is also non-existent after uploads.

    wp upload folder permission remained the same all the time, that is 755. It worked fine before 4.2.4.

    Anyone with the same issues?

    What can be done?

    I’ve used for over 8 months now, so I’m not that new.

    Try this:
    Go to Admin -> Settings -> Media and make sure both the Store uploads in this folder and Full URL path to files entries are blank and Save Changes.

    I’m sorry. I should have stated my OP more clearer. It’s a self-hosted wordpress site running on busolighting.

    Hopefully that image will be visible here. I can’t see any options like the ones you mentioned.
