Broken in WordPress 4.0

  • I updated to WordPress 4.0 this morning. When I tried to broadcast a reply to a tweet, it didn’t post.

    No error. Just never showed up in Twitter. I ad to copy the shortlink from the post and use Twitter to post it.

    I did get replies (on Twitter) which I approved (in WordPress) that show up, but the content doesn’t. blog comments.

    Any help appreciated.

  • Yeah, I have issues like that too. The tinyURL didn’t resolve when posted to Facebook – but nothing posted to twitter at all.

    Now when I try to re-broadcast I just get a white screen.

    But this is my first time trying to use it – I’m not sure if it’s because of 4.0 upgrade or not … ??

    Posting works fine for me with WP 4.0.

    Hi Alex.

    Looking at the amount of comments left in the past 3 weeks, I’m not alone. Maybe it’s a conflict with another plugin, and not solely the WP4.0 update.

    I’ll install again, try it and let you know.

    I see lots of problems with 4.0, not lots of problems posting with 4.0.

    Hi Alex.

    I deactivated some other plugins and I could now post a test and broadcast using Social.

    Those plugins were working with Social before I had this issue, but who knows ??
