    Hi,

I downloaded and activated the Broken Link Checker last week. I have left it active after since but it’s not detecting my URL’s.

I have 100’s of URL’s but only 23 are being shown.

    Hi @jackslobodian

    I hope you’re well today!

I noticed you got optimization plugin and some cache active on site. Could you try these steps then?:

    1. On “Settings -> Link Checker” page in “Look for Links In” and “Which Links to Check” tabs – double-check settings to make sure that all link “locations” and link “types” that you want to be scanned for links are enabled; even if there’s no changes made to these settings, please re-save them

    2. On “Settings -> Link Checker” page in “Advanced” tab – make sure that “Run hourly in the background” option is enabled; then enable “Logging” option down the page

    3. Clear all caches on site/server

    4. Use “Force recheck” option on “Settings -> link Checker” page in “Advanced” tab at the bottom

    5. Give it some time and check if it then detects URL this time or still not.

If not, please check log file location (it will be given below “log file location” option on “Settings -> Link Checker” page in “Advanced” tab) and download the log file. Take a look into it and see if you can spot any issues/errors reported there.

It would also be great if you could share that log file with us (via pastebin.com or some file storage of yours such as Google Drive, Dropbox or similar) – just make sure to strip/mask all the sensitive data if there are any.

Hopefully a look into the log will then help identify the issue so we could find solution.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Thank you Adam!

I followed your instructions and the plugin is working great now.

    Many thanks,

I’ve got a similiar problem, but it’s weird. I just installed it a few days ago and corrected many broken links. This is my first website I made for my wife’s business and I use Elementor. Everything was fine yesterday, but today I got an email from BLC that I had 14 broken links. I got to my site and find many pages I have that have with photo galleries showing the pages are are non existent. I go to BLC and it shows no broken links. Later under tools I find 14 broken links. This was after I use Site Audit to run a check and find over 110 and then I watch the 14 broken links (14 in red circle) disappear in front of my eyes without me correcting anything. Now BLC still shows no broken links yet Site Audit shows over 100 and I don’t want to manually redirect all of those with the Redirection plugin because BLC is easier to do it and I’m not sure how to do it with the redirection because I don’t know where to find the correct link to redirect it to including it looking like a lot more work. What do I do? https://classycakecreations.com
