Broken links & alt tags of images

  • Hi there. I am facing 2,3 consistent issues with my WordPress website. When I check seo audit report, I get 2,3 consistent errors. One is of broken links which I am unable to find and these 2 broken links are not even present in google search console or my broken link checker WordPress plugin.
    Secondly, this report is giving 4 images on my homepage with missing alt attributes although I have done everything from image name to adding alt titles to alt descriptions. I have done seo of my images but still this issue is appearing.
    Anyone kindly guide me and kindly if you could tell me the best free seo audit tool for the site.

  • Take a look at the HTML validator tool which should give you a good indication of issues in your code, particularly with missing attributes etc. As for broken links; the Google Search Console should be able to list any links that are going to 404 pages.

    ok thankew.. so this tool is giving me a lot of errors in html coding.I am a totally non technical person so please guide me do i have to omit all the codes which are mentioned in this tool report? Where will I go exactly on my wordpress dashboard to edit this html coding?
