Broken links in htttps pages

Normally, Falcon engine should work fine with https, and by default it won’t cache pages that are delivered by https (there is an option to enable that on the Performance Setup tab) — either way, it should not affect the image URLs.

Do you have any other caching plugins enabled? Or plugins that modify URLs, such as changing the image resolution for mobile devices or using a CDN? You could try disabling other plugins, clearing the cache, and seeing if the images come up correctly, then.

If you can see what the URL is for the broken links, and compare that to the original URL when Falcon is disabled, that may help, as well.

I have disable any other plugin related to caching or CDN and I still have the same problem. The site logo doesn’t display on https pages, the rest of the images are okay. Just the site logo and google map plugin.

Can you see what the URL of the logo is when Falcon is enabled, and when it is disabled? If they are different, that may help narrow down the issue — or if they are the same, the browser may be refusing to load certain elements.

I have it now under control. For some reason the .htaccess file was a mess. Don’t know why! Thanks responding to the posts.

Sometimes, multiple plugins that modify .htaccess can cause some problems. We do also have a few reports of issues with .htaccess and Falcon engine on certain hosts, that we are investigating. If the problem reoccurs with your current set of plugins while Falcon is enabled, let us know. Thanks!
