Hi all,

I couldn’t find something similar by searching the forum.

I use a Block (FAQ – Schema) by Ultimate Add-Ons for Gutenberg which includes some links. Looking at the source everything is fine, but the broken link checker reports some of them as broken. When I look at the url, I notice a part of the ending anchor-tag at the end of the url. Of course, this won’t work.

url i.e.: ‘https://www.example.com/path</a’

Is there something I can do? Thanks in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @st3phan5,

Is this the plugin that you are using? https://ultimategutenberg.com/

I have tested this on my end by adding FAQ Schema element on my page with a link inside it but couldn’t replicate the issue as there were no broken links reported.

Can you give us a bit more info on how this could be replicated, how exactly is the link added and where?

Which link from the page you linked is the one that has this issue?

Cheers,
Predrag

Sorry for being late ??

I ‘ll try to give some more information:

a) Yes, I use https://ultimategutenberg.com/ in combination with Astra Pro
b) Sourcecode looks fine from my view …
c) I uploaded two screenshots, who might help to understand my problem:

https://st3phan.de/upload/brokenlink-1.jpg and https://st3phan.de/upload/brokenlink-2.jpg

All other links over the whole website work fine and don’t get reported. Just some of my links in the ‘FAQ – Schema Child’ block:

https://st3phan.de/upload/brokenlink-3.jpg

Just because the source code looks fine, I reported this error for your plugin.

Thanks again!

Hi @st3phan5,

I re-checked this with the Astra plugin enabled on a test site still wasn’t able to replicate the issue at our end.

Further, I checked the source code of the page that you have shared and was able to notice the instance from the following screenshot: https://ibb.co/ssTWSg4

There seems to be an issue with how the URL is rendered by the Ultimate Add-Ons for the Gutenberg plugin on your site. Can you please try re-link the URLs and check if that resolves the issue? Can you please also confirm if you are using the latest version of the plugin?

Let us know how it goes.

Kind Regards,
Nebu John

Hi, thanks a lot for your research! I really appreciate it.

Yes, of course I use the latest versions of both plugins in the hope it resolves my issue one day ??

By now, I’ll try to go with your advice, even if I did it some time ago. I’m just surprised that the source code actually looks okay.

Thanks again!

Due to the possibly of wrong rendering, I also reported the problem to ‘Gutenberg Blocks – Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg’.
