Broken Login to Cart Page Link

Upon Clicking Checkout, it takes me to a page whereby I am required to register or login. Since I am registered, I choose to login, it then redirects me to the login page where I supply my correct login information. Upon clicking the login button, it takes me to a page with a broken URL, this page is non existent and therefore generates a 404 error.
Note: This only happens for logged out users. If you are logged in, the cart process is smooth.
