the front end login module is somehow I think using the google recaptcha even though I have not got it enabled on the site anywhere. I am not sure why this happened but the error did not allow me to login, I got a spinning wheel which did not go away and because I tried to keep getting past it and opening other browser windows apparently the recaptcha I could not see kept firing and then I got locked out from my server altogether due to being automatically blacklisted after too many failed recaptcha instances. My host had to unblock me. If you have heard of what could be causing this issue please let me know. I would like to use the uncanny front end login if possible. I also have divi coming soon plugin and am using the divi theme. Neither of those had a form or recaptcha on it either. You can only see the coming soon page as we are not live yet. I have learndash login turned off, although it was on briefly when I was debating which to use.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

That’s odd, I thought we replied to this yesterday, but maybe it was in a ticket with our Help Desk or Facebook?

    Just in case…

Check your Front End Login module settings, make sure nothing is in the reCaptcha fields. Our module wouldn’t call it if those fields are blank.

Just to be safe, and given that the site is in maintenance mode, maybe it’s worth temporarily deactivating all other plugins and changing to a default theme temporarily to see if you can still reproduce it. I do wonder if something else is trying to add a reCaptcha to all login forms and it’s making ours break. Disabling other plugins would help trace something like that.

I’ll note too that a typical problem if you’re blocking access to all pages is when the login page in our module is set to a page that users can’t access (because of your Coming Soon plugin). You’ll definitely want to make sure you’re not doing that (and generally speaking, it’s not really a good idea to use our module when your site is in a maintenance mode anyway, since you may see issues if pages we rely on for login and password reset are blocked).

Oh thank you, I had already checked and there was no recaptcha fields filled in for the login page and I know there is no other form using recaptcha in the site I have built so far but I think you are right about the coming soon being in the way. Maybe what I will do is deactivate the coming soon to work on the login page and see if I can duplicate the error and if it does not happen then that is what it is. I have to be careful because it does not show me the error or fail it just has a spinning icon. and when I go out and try to login again and again and fail it counts up the number of times so that my hosting company blocks me. Thanks very much for your help. Working with learndash is new to me.
