Hi Ben, can you provide any evidence that it was this plugin that removed those entries from the .htaccess file?

When you install and enable this plugin it adds the following tags to the .htaccess file.

    # BEGIN All In One WP Security
    # END All In One WP Security

Anything between the tags above will be updated or removed when you update, disable or enable any security feature in the plugin that writes to the .htaccess file. Anything outside the tags above will not be touched by the plugin.

    In regards to your comment.

I noticed this because I had some redirects from HTTP to HTTPS that were no longer there after the update.

Did you add the above mentioned entries inside the tags mentioned above or were they added outside the tags?

Hey Thanks for the quick reply.

If that is how the plugin is designed then my previous entries must have been placed within your tags.

Thank you for clearing that up.
