  • In your site’s WP Admin go to Settings -> Permalinks and check to see if the structure has a missing ‘/’

It appears to be intact. Custom Structure /%postname%

The link works as a Level 1 Heading but doesn’t work as a Level 2 sub-section.

    That should be /%postname%/

Putting in the extra slash automatically moved the radio button selection up to Common Settings> Post Name https://www.glassandchocolate.com/sample-post/ . But the problem still persists. For some reason the Permalink URL doesn’t want to keep the (/) between the First and Second Levels.

I do remember that I installed WP Single Post Navigation plugin last night and noticed that all my Blog Posts including the ones restricted to the splashpage got lumped into the same navigation menu when they should have remained separate. I Deactivated it but the problem still remains.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

If i switch to the Twenty Eleven theme will all of my CSS stylesheet changes disappear?

Jumping in to File Manager makes me nervous. But something tells me it is related to that particular plugin. Here goes nothin’.

The resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin didn’t do a thing.

    I’ll try deactivating all plugins.

The links don’t work in Twenty Eleven either. I have disabled all my plugins and reactivated them but the links still won’t point to the Gallery Page. And the Permalinks still won’t accept the (/). Do you think there has been some code corrupted in the stylesheet by a plugin that I deleted?

Should I reinstall the css stylesheet? Or any other code for that matter?

    Site url?

    glassandchocolate.com

The first image goes to a portfolio like it should. I think because it is a Level 1 menu page. The others go to the individual post. They are Level 2 Menu pages.

Can we see your site using Twenty Eleven with all plugins deactivated?

    Thread Starter gregre

    (@gregre)

Twenty Eleven w/o plugins up and running.

I can’t find anything wrong with any of the post links on your site, so perhaps this is theme related?

I’ll try and re-install it or else try to copy the code in again. Maybe there is a corrupted command somewhere.

    Thanks for looking at this.
