Since updating woocommerce to 8.4.0 the [product_page id=”xxxx”] shortcode inside a post breaks the backend post editor. Rolling back to woocommerce 8.3 fixes the issue. We use the Blocksy theme, but also have the same issue when switching to Storefront. Strangely, the Twenty Twenty-Four theme doesn’t show the same issue. Deactivating other plugins doesn’t resolve the issue. The issue exists with a custom post type, but also in the normal default post type. The frontend of the site is not showing a problem, but only when the post is edited. For this reason we cannot share the problem page without also sharing some login details.
