Broken read more tag

Where have you added the “more” tag?

What do you mean by “t the “more” insert doesn’t even pop up.” ?

Thanks for responding!

I add the read more tag mid sentence/paragraph or wherever I’d like readers to click the button.

When I click the “read more” icon in wordpress the dotted “more” line usually doesn’t even pop up in my post. On the rare occasion it does, the “read more” button doesn’t actually appear on my site.

I meant, “where on one your existing posts, have you inserted the “more” tag so I can see what’s going on.”

Also, because your theme posts full-length posts, rather than excerpts, the more link is not shown.

You’ll need to modify your theme to use excerpts rather than full-length posts.

I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/adelle#new-post so the plugin’s / theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.
