    Hello,

I'm contacting you because I'm experiencing a problem after installing CookieYes via GTM.

Most of the CTAs on our website are not clickable and an error message is displayed on the console: third party cookie will be block in future chrome versions.

I encountered the same problem when installing the plugin, which is why I chose to install via GTM after deactivating and uninstalling the WordPress plugin.

I also followed this guide, thinking it would solve the problem, but it didn't: https://www.cookieyes.com/documentation/features/integrations/block-third-party-cookies-with-google-tag-manager-and-cookieyes/

Following the problem caused on the site, I decided to uninstall everything on GTM while waiting for an answer from you.

Eventually, we'd like to take out a subscription, but we can't until we're sure that the integration is working properly.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Best regards,

    Wlad

    Hi @cookieyesteam ,

Thank you very much for your feedback but I finally decided to opt for another cookie solution. It’s a shame because your solution looks really great and easy to use, but the problems caused on the site have put me off a bit.

I won’t hesitate to come back to you if the current solution doesn’t suit me and I want to reconsider my initial choice ??

Thank you and have a nice day,

    Wladimir

Whether using the plugin or the GTM installation, the problem was the same. Although I’d rather use GTM than a plugin.

As explained above, I’ve opted for another solution but wouldn’t hesitate if I changed my mind.

Thank you and have a nice day,

    Hi @wlad69,

The issue might be due to the blocking of any mandatory scripts on your site. To confirm that, we need your site URL with our banner active.

I am experiencing the same issue with slick.js being blocked. The URL is private, how can I share it with you? @cookieyesteam

    Hi @wlad69,

    Hi

I just wanted to add that CookieYes had classified the rocketloader from Cloudflare as analytics, and this prevented cloudflare from serving javascript which subsequently created various funky errors.

I fixed it by marking this as a necessary cookie.
