    Hi,

I’ve been using “wp-security-scan” for a long time and it’s been working very well.
    My plugin’s version was 3.1.0.

So, today there was an update to version 4.0.1.

I’ve done the update and with this new version activated I can’t see it in menu anymore (it’s disappeared from there).
I have no access to settings, scan, monitoring view or anything else.

The plugin “wp-security-scan” apppears activated in the plugins list but doesn’t have ‘settings‘ link, only ‘deactivate‘ link.

    Any ideas???

  • Hi,
Same problem here. None of the two ” upadted ” Acunetix plugins appear.
I tried the advice provided by WordWeaver777 with no luck.

    Quite challenging for security plugins.

Below you’ll find a list of the site plugins (all up-to-date and active) unless the most-feared upadte of NextGen, Gallery:

Akismet, All In One SEO Pack, AntiVirus, BackWPup, Broken Link Checker, Contact Form 7, Exploit Scanner, FancyBox for WordPress, Google Analytics for WordPress, Google XML Sitemaps, Health Check, HTML Page Sitemap, Limit Login Attempts, NextGEN Gallery, Redirection, Role Scoper, Secure WordPress, Sidebar Login, Smart Youtube PRO, Snitch, Theme-Check, Theme Authenticity Checker (TAC), W3 Total Cache, WassUp Real Time Analytics, Widget Logic, WordPress.com Stats, WordPress Database Backup, WordPress Firewall 2, WP-DBManager, WP-Memory-Usage, WP-PageNavi, WP-Table Reloaded, wp-Typography, WP Security Scan

I am lmooking forward to a working update.
    Cheers.

    Hi guys

The problem we’re facing is that on all our tests before and after release we didn’t face and couldn’t replicate these issues… ??

In this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/administration-4?replies=7 I’ve posted a possible solution to this problem. I would appreciate it if you could follow it step by step and let us if it solved the problem.

Also, inspecting the error logs from your server might be helpful as they might provide additional information about this.

    Regards,
    Acunetix
