Broken Visual/Text tab switching on post text editor

  • The combination of the WordPress 3.9 upgrade and InboundWriter 2.0.2 has resulted in breaking the post editor tab switching. I get the following JS error upon page load:

    Sorry – and I know it is the InboundWriter plugin that is at fault by process of elimination (disabling 1 plugin at a time and testing the post text tab switching each time).

    By keeping all of my original plugins active and disabling just the InboundWriter the post text tab switching is restored.

    I have experienced the exact issue: Inbound Writer plugin messing up with my WordPress 3.9 recently updated web site. I have disabled all plug-ins and enabled them back one at a time until I found the culprit. I hope we will get an update for the plug in soon.

    I was lucky (sort of) – I contacted my client and it just so happens that they’ve recently decided to discontinue their business with InboundWriter.

    So – problem solved – plugin disabled => WP 3.9 upgrade completed.

    Yeah, I have the same problem on one of my client websites… Any word about an update?

    Same here. Plus the Add Media button isn’t working.
