• Hello,
I spend hours on blog but couldn’t find solution for my problem.
My website https://www.zrkadlovynabytok.sk shows this error:

Warning: require(/wp-load.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/oz015600/www_root/index.php on line 17

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/wp-load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/pear/’) in /home/oz015600/www_root/index.php on line 17

And my wp-admin page is lost. I tried to delete everything except wp-content.

The problem started when I wanted update plugins.
Since then I rename them, but still nothing.
    I am desperate.

    Pretty please help me:(

    Thanks

  • The problem started when I wanted update plugins.

What exactly did you do? The failed to open stream error is usually due to file permissions. However since you mentioned that you deleted everything, I strongly suggest to take a break and then start fixing your site step-by-step

    What did you delete?

I wanted to uninstall one plugin and then my website start showing this this message. Warning: require(/wp-load.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/oz015600/www_root/index.php on line 17

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/wp-load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/pear/’) in /home/oz015600/www_root/index.php on line 17

I delete the theme…all that is left is wp-content and wp-includes.
I did it in my fillezilla account.

But I have no idea how to fix it.
I am considering deleting website (years of work and starting over) But I don’t know how to do it either.

Can you help me what could I do?

Just restore the site from your last good backup.

Contact your hosting support and see if they can restore a backup of your site.

Also, how did you uninstall the plugin? Did you go through the dashboard or removed the plugin’s folder directly?
