Broken with 4.0.1

I agree. SKU shows as a list but when hitting enter, no results are found.

Same here unfortunately.

Are you using any other search plugins? Compatibility with relevanssi search has been added in 0.6.1

No other search plugins at the time.

Do you have any more info of how its broken? Or if you could send me a list of the plugins you have installed that would be a help.

Hi, thanks for following up.
I’m using Dave’s search https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/daves-wordpress-live-search/ and like it a lot.
I was making the sku part of the title and worked great but wasn’t beneficial to the title.
I removed the sku from the title name and contacted Dave and he suggested your plugin might do the job. And it does in a round about way.

When I first tested it, nothing worked due to that I also has Search Everything activated. When I have only Search by SKU or Search Everything I get same results for sku. Dave’s Search ajax wheel spins and stops, but no drop-down results.

When I hit ENTER then the search page opens with the sku results.

So, it does work but not totally in sync with Dave’s Search. Don’t know which may need tweaking for them to work in sync. Would be great if they did!

I have the latest WP 4.1 and I still have issues with getting results when typing SKU

Good day, I have a problem: when you enter 012 outputs the result: 0012, 0014, 015, and so on…. please search the full SKU
(WP 4.0.1, WC 2.1.7)

does not work for me either. i have a sku “PHS 001”. search finds nothing ?!

At first it looks great: when entering a single letter a lists below suggests similar SKUs but when I finish writing the complete code name, the list product disappears and appears “no result”.

At least a way to put off the live message that said “No results”. Enter works fine and shows in a new page the results. But the Live results listed its all mess up.

Please somebody help!

i noticed this behaviour:
my sku is “WHS 039”. when i search for this, the url is:
?s=WHS+039&post_type=product
this finds nothing!
But when i remove “WHS+” OR “+039” then it shows me all products with “039” or “WHS”. so it just works partially

Hi I am using WP 4.1.1.
and having same problem.

I made a test
sku: xxx zzz

search for x or xx or xxx or z or zz or zzz work fine

search for x z gives a result for all products including either a x or/and a z

but not the product with sku xxx zzz

so something goes wrong when there is a space in the sku no.
