I’ve just updated gravity forms to v 1.8.22 and sadly the settings for this plugin have disappeared.

And before anyone says “why not revert back to the previous version” I was getting an error at the end of the personality quiz so was hoping an update would fix it… and I guess you could say it has!!

Shame, this plugin was exactly what I was looking for, for a long time but with the blatant lack of support in ANY way, I can’t see it being updated!

  • I can confirm the plugin isn’t working with Gravity Forms 1.9.1.2.

As far as I can tell, it has something to do with the options for Personality Quiz missing under Form Settings. Perhaps a hook in GF has changed..?

We would really appreaciate a note from the author, ’cause this plugin is a lifesaver and quite simply the only plugin that works (well) for these types of quizzes.

Ok, weird thing. The issue (for me, at least) was not with this plugin, nor the recent update to GF 1.9.1.2.

It was caused by WordPress SEO by Yoast, which apparently breaks stuff when you upgrade from 1.7.1 to 1.7.3.

I have no idea what causes this, but from the look of the support forums for WP SEO at the time of writing, that upgrade also causes issues for other plugins.

    So, TL;DR:

    This combo works, for me:

I don’t have the WordPress SEO plugin installed, but since updating Gravity Forms all the settings for the Personality style Quize were gone..

Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Anyone else with this issue – try deactivating and reactivating the add-on.

Every time I update ANY plugin this plugin disappears and I Have to deactivate and reactivate it – is there a possibility of updating it so this doesn’t happen? It is such an awesome plugin and I would be prepared to pay for it as a premium if the support was there

I’m having similar issues with Gravity 1.9.4; any chance of an update?

Hi there, this doesn’t work for me at all. I’ve disabled, removed, reinstalled, disabled WordPress SEO, re-enabled it… no joy. The settings don’t come up on the form settings menu, so the plugin is unusable for me, sadly…

An update would be great! ??

    Cheers!

Hey, can you let me know what version of WordPress and Gravity Forms you are on?

    Hey @dabernathy89,

Thank you so much for your quick reply! ??

I’m on Gravity Forms 1.9.11.1 and on WordPress 4.2.2.

I don’t have access to 1.9.11.1, but I was able to grab 1.9.11.3, which should be virtually the same. Everything seems to be working correctly on my setup.

My guess is that there is some kind of other plugin conflict.

One thing to check is the JavaScript console on the form settings page (in Chrome this is in the menu under “More Tools”). Let me know if you see any errors in there which might be related.

Another thing to check out is server side errors – there is a plugin called Query Monitor which can help with this, although I believe it requires you to turn on debugging:
