    Hello Denis,

The plugin is tested on GF 1.8.12 a works as expected.

Please visit the Gravity Forms general settings page ( Forms -> Settings ) and make sure that Output HTML5 option is set to yes.

I discovered why it didn’t seem to work. I had Gravity Form “No Conflict Mode” turned on in my settings and that resulted in no placeholder fields in the Form Editor fields. When I turned off the no conflict mode, it works. Is this intended?

Thank you for pointing this out!

We are currently working on ver. 2.6 of the plugin in which we will include a fix for this. This version will be available later today.

    Hi,

I am currently encountering the same problem where in the Placeholder fields aren’t showing up.

I set the Output HTML5 option set to Yes and the “No Conflict Mode” turned off but still no luck. Any idea what could be the issue?

    Thanks

eCalata I’m having the same issue..

    Hi,

The plugin is tested to work on latest Gravity Forms 1.8.22.

Using Output HTML5 option set to Yes and No Conflict Mode either On or Off should work.

Are you using some other plugin that extends Gravity Forms?

I iSoftware, I just checked on our plugins and I dont see anything that could possibly have conflicts with Gravity Form Placeholder. Can you be a bit more specific on what may extend Gravity Form?

HTML5 Placeholders is an extension for GF itself.

eCalata, do you use some other plugin that extends the GF just like Placeholders?

    Hi akkis,

The only placeholder that we use is the Gravity Form Placeholder. Other plugin the we use is WooThemes (Sensei and WooCommerce).
