browscap.ini download does not work

  • I use version 12.3.6.4 of wp_statistics. I have all three boxes checked under Browscap setting. And I get an email that browscap was downloaded: “Browscap database updated successfully!”

    However, on page Optimization I find the following under “file information”:

    GeoIP-Datenbank: 3.31 MB, erstellt am 14. August 2018 @ 8:48
    Dateigr??e und -datum der GeoIP-Datenbank.
    browscap.ini: Die Datei ?browscap.ini“ existiert nicht!
    Gr??e und Datum der ?browscap.ini“-Datei.
    Browscap Cache File: Browscap cache file does not exist.
    The file size and date of the Browscap cache file.
