Browse button not working on Google Chrome

    The files browse button (“Select files” below “Drop file here”) does not work on Chromium Browser version 83.0.4103.61 on Linux Mint 19.
    It works fine on latest version of Mozilla Firefox.
    Please note the file browse button of the Media section in WordPress is working without issues. So this is not related to PLUpload bugs.
    PLUpload version used by WordPress is 2.1.9
    The bug was reproduced by installing wp-import-export-lite plugin on multiple WordPress websites running latest version 5 and 4.9
    It was also experienced by another user running Mac OS X.
